My latest PGS download will install no problem on my computer running XP Professional, but when I dc the icon the PGS splash screen shows and then disappears and thats as far as it goes. Older versions work no problem.

You probably installed using an upgrade install rather than the full version install. The upgrade install does not contain all the necessary files to install on a new machine.

Download and install the full installation from <http://www.goodsol.com/download.html>.
