I just wanted everybody to know that the latest version of Action Solitaire was nominated for a Shareware Industry Award as the 'Best Action/Arcade Game' for 2005. These nominations and the award itself are voted upon by other developers and publishers in our industry. There are 3 other games recognized in this category, and the winner will be announced at a banquet in July. I will also note that Pretty Good Solitaire was nominated in the 'Best Non-Action Game' category for the third year in a row. (This was the first nomination for Action Solitaire.) There is a parallel group of awards, the People's Choice Awards, that are voted upon by everybody. If you are interested in participating, information can be found at http://www.sic.org/peopleschoice.asp. Thanks!

Update: Unfortunately, Action Solitaire did not win the SIA this year, but "it was an honor just to be nominated." Pretty Good Solitaire won the People's Choice award in the 'Best Non-Action Game' category for the second year in a row (and fourth time overall).
