Is there any reason to think that these shouldn't work well together? Someone I know has had a new computer with XP and installed their copy of 1999 Goodsol and it crashes on Goodsol from time to time. Nvidia drivers, don't know which. Thanks. |

Pretty Good Solitaire 99 will run fine on XP, except...it will not install on XP because of a bug in the installer that PGS99 used. To install on XP, you need Pretty Good Solitaire 2k or later. If you are a registered user PGS2k is a free upgrade from PGS99, just download from the right side of <http://www.goodsol.com/download.html>. You will, however, need a new registration code for PGS2k, which you can request at <http://www.goodsol.com/regusers.html>. And of course, you can always upgrade to version 9, see details at <http://www.goodsol.com/upgrade.html>. |
