I've won several games, but, they don't appear in my statistics. Is there another step that I should take? When I try it again the red winning score appears and i have to elide both results. My brain is curdled and I've lost all my old results. AGS

I am having problem posting my scores. In 101 it says error posting scores and regular goodsol just does nothing. I have tried suspending my firewall with no luck.
 any ideas

Can you get to the high scores by clicking the 'View High Scores' button?

Is this something that just started happening? If so, what have you installed or changed on your computer recently?

What is the exact message that Goodsol Solitaire 101 displays (not that it is too descriptive)?

Are you having problems submitting an individual game, or all of your scores at once? (Try the other way, too, please.)

Such problems are almost always either a transient connection issue or firewall interference. In tech speak: "It works fine from here."

The box says error at the top and simply error submitting high scores underneath. I have never submitted from 101. Regular just clicks with no response. I tried shutting down the windows firewall ans virus protect. I also reinstalled in a different location.

Since you can view high scores, this is most likely the correct test, and it should have worked. However, it is possible that you did not get the firewall entirely disabled.

Which firewall and "protection" products do you have installed? Perhaps we can figure out how to configure the software to permit Goodsol Solitaire 101 to make outgoing internet connections (and thus solve the problem).

Ken, Have you changed your email address since you first registered the product? I was just thinking that perhaps Goodsol does not recognise you as a customer and therefore won't accept your stats.

Hi Gregg. I just hit a snag myself. I was playing and posting scores in 101 then all of a sudden I could not post. Were you working on something?

Interesting. I've never had a problem. I always submit my stats individually from the actual game I'm playing. I've never tried doing them simultaneously. Which way are you guys doing it?

When I play a hand in a particular game and finish I usually post right away. Once in awhile I may play a few hands and then post. But mostly just hand by hand.

OK Mike, there is actually a way to upload all your scores at the same time. I was just trying to establish which method was giving people problems. The screenshot explains it better than me.

When you hit the High Scores button it shows you all the games you've participated in, and how well you've done in each. You can then submit them en bloc.

Like I said I usually do it hand by hand. But sometimes I do it with the above method. Or sometimes I forget about it all together and take a nap.

Ha! Have you considered the possibility that I just post scores to wind you up Mike? I'm going to give you a break though until after I complete my current 101 Josephine project. At the present rate of progress we could be talking weeks.
BTW on TV yesterday I learned that we sleep for 20 years during the average lifetime. Of course some of us appear to be getting the lion's share, (no names mentioned).

The server does not (currently) verify scores based on the submitted email address, so this is not the problem. (Good thought, though.)

Actually, I was working on removing a foot of snow from my driveway, but I doubt that activity affected the online score server.

There seems to be an intermittent issue with high score submissions, based on the number of reports, but I still have not had any problems at all submitting with Goodsol Solitaire 101 (using any method).

 >I post scores hand by hand as well. But when I get an error message it closes down the programme and returns to the desktop.

This is definitely wrong, and we need an error report with the 'goodsol.error' file and the exact message. Failure to submit scores should just display "Error submitting high scores." It should never crash and exit the program.

The next time this happens, please send an error report via email. Thanks.

Removing any amount of snow from anywhere would seriously affect me and anything else I was doing. And my scoring problem did occur when I was moving into first place in Free Fan. But it fixed itself after I logged out and then went back later.

It never snows here. Well almost never. Maybe once in the last 300 years. I was going to try and catch up in one of the games. But the leader has already played 400 hands. I think I will forget it and go back to sleep.

Last night we were shoveling (more snow) when it was 6 degrees Fahrenheit, with a wind chill of -14. You do now know what you are missing.

(Right now it is a balmy 17 degrees F.)

Yes I do. I lived in Washington DC for two winters in the Army. We got to shovel lots of snow. And I have shoveled my way to a mountain cabin here in the local mountains. Never again.
