We have been playing Freecell on our computer for many years and have just run into some problems. I hope some one out there can help. (1) We can no longer "select" a game - no box comes up into which to insert the game number and the entire thing just freezes up (2) Sometimes cards are missing -- i.e. we get an empty space (3) Sometimes cards "disappear" after we have already played them. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks |

memory problems, refresh your screen, close un used/un needed programs.....I'm at 57.1% and rising!!! that happens to me, but goodsol does a good job of memory management. |

>We have been playing Freecell on our computer for many years and have just run into some problems. Is this the FreeCell that comes with Windows 98 or FreeCell in Pretty Good Solitaire or FreeCell Wizard? Cards disappearing and things like that sound like possible video card driver issues. You might try turning down hardware acceleration on your video card. |

Help, I have been playing FreeCell from Windows 98 for many years. I have recently found that the game is "frozen". The "hourglass" pointer is always on over the cards, though I can select play, help etc.. At the top left where is should say "FreeCell" there is a short series of unusual characters ... A Cents symbol, an upside down question mark, etc.. It's not that I am addicted to FreeCell, but I am beginning to shake a little ... please help. Regards TC |

I'm afraid I cannot help with technical problems with the FreeCell that comes with Windows 98 - that's a Microsoft game. There are known interactions between Microsoft FreeCell and Internet Explorer, you might be able to find something about it on Microsoft's site. |
