When I loaded PGS on my new computer it seemed to run a little slower especially on auto at the end of a game. Today I left AIM instant message on and the end of game sped up quite a bit. Anyone know why this might happen? |

Speed in Windows is highly dependent on what applications are running. Sometimes applications that run in the background (usually with icons in the taskbar at the bottom right) can be using up a lot of processor time and can slow a computer down significantly. Closing them can sometimes cause major speed improvements. |

Hi Thomas. Yes I know that programs running in the background can slow down speeds but this was just the opposite. When I have AIM running in the background PGS runs faster. It seems to defy logic. |
