Hi--I've been playing game #1255920225 of Crazy Quilt for some time and maybe I'm getting as crazy as the game itself, but it seems to me that there is only one deuce of Spades in this game--has anyone else come across a problem like this? Or am I seeing things? Or not seeing them??? |

Frances, I've just looked at 1255920225 on both PGS and MPS, and I see both of the Spade 2's on the opening tableau. Lower right corner and 4th card from the right on the next to bottom row. this is one of the games I have won. |

Hi Annika--yes, I know that is one of the winning numbers you gave me and I have gone through it about ten times and I still do not see the second 2 of spades--I don't udnerstand it. Even my husband looked at it and he couldn't find it either. I know there is one down in the bottom row but that's the only one I find--- |

Hi Frances i agree with Jeralyn the 2s is above the 3c on the bottom row so 2nd row from the bottom should read left to right 6d 7s 3h jc 2s 5s qs 8h if you find the same and still have trouble winning then i can give you the moves regards Paul |

Paul, this is so crazy--I brought it up again and there is no 2 of spades anywhere except in the bottom row--I don't get it unless there's a little gremlin at work--- Maybe, if it isn't too much trouble, you could send me the moves? No hurry--and please don't go to any trouble doing it-- Thanks! |

Paul, the last row reads, from left to right (and it is definitely the game number in question): 6D, 7H, 3H, JC, 2S, 5S, QS, 8H Thank you for the moves--- |

Okay, I know what the problem is! You are using larger cards, and there is no room for the bottom row. I started playing CQ on the Beta test for Most Popular Sol, and using that format, I could use the larger cards, and have the whole game on the screen. When I tried it in PGS, The bottom row was cut off, when I enlarged the cards. I questioned this, and learned that MPS is the same format as Action Sol, and it was not possible to interchange them. Now I find I cannot enlarge the cards for CQ on PGS, so you must have an earlier version. Make your cards smaller, and ther whole game will be in the screen field. Of course the game is better with larger cards. Jerri |

Oh, gosh, Jerri--I never thought of the card size!!! I thought that was the whole layout (tableau)--thanks for telling me--I will change the card size and see what happens. |

There was a bug in version 10.3.0 in Crazy Quilt where it would allow you to set the card size too large for the game to fit on the screen. This has been fixed in version 10.3.1, the Crazy Quilt game will run only with small cards. The Crazy Quilt in Most Popular Solitaire allows bigger cards.

Frances - see in the other topic where you posted too. The 10.3 and 10.31 versions were very close. Which resolution do you use? |

Thomas - in MostPopSol it can be played with the small cards in 800X600, but it's not fun because I have to scroll until I get the bottom line off. The cards seem bigger than they really are, because they don't stack. |

In MPS, all you have to do is eliminate the "game tool bar" at the top of the screen. (Options) Then the whole tableau fits the screen with larger cards. Makes the game really enjoyable. I personally love Crazy Quilt. Jerri |

I just tried that approach with PGS, but it will not allow me to change the size of the cards. |
