Bob has now posted 90,000 wins with 0 losses on Freecell. I say we should have a virtual party when he reaches the 6 digit score! |

I'm somewhat puzzled by these numbers. If he's had PGS for 20 years he must have played 4500 games every year. Which works out to about 12 games every single day for 20 years! I guess he's been a busy, busy boy. Incidentally, I suspect that (I'm not positive because I haven't tried) that given any game in PGS I could post 100,000 wins with no losses and probably do it inside of a week - possibly inside of 2 hours. Maybe there's some safeguards I don't know about but at first glance it seems very, very easy. |

PGS hasn't been around 20 years. I fail to understand why anyone would choose to play 90,000 games of anything, especially the boring Freecell, which has been around since I played solitaire with real cards. I also fail to understand why anyone would want to cheat to post a high score. |

He's been playing for over 5 years. The number of games he has played has grown from just a few hundred or thousand to the current number. He just plays a lot of games, the score is legitimate.

So in 5 years he'd have to have played 50 games a day every day of the year. Assuming he plays only 16 hours every day he'd only have to play (and win) three every hour (and play an extra hour every few days or so). Totally amazing!! But it *could* be done. Perry

I have been playing FreeCell for a couple of years. I like games that I don't lose all the time. I started playing regularly when I heard that you could win every game. I have won almost 25,000 games. I do it for easy mental exercise (brain candy). When I am focused on the game (in the zone) I play 10 games in 20 minutes. I usually play 5-10 games at a sitting. If you are trying to figure out how many hours Bob has played, use this info for your calculation. I am sure Bob plays faster than I do. |

Not every freecell game is winnable. Try #11982. |

Wow, I thought I was the God of Freecell. I have been playing for years and can knock out about 10 in 20 minutes. I haven't found anyone I know can beat me. I often go into the hundreds of games until I get lazy and make a mistake. But, almost a hundred thousand games without one loss? Un effing believable. And, I tried 11982...hmmm...that's a hard one. I will have to give it some more thought. Thanks!

Hi Dave you will find 11982 is impossible these are other impossible ones to stay clear of 146692, 186216, 455889, 495505, 512118, 517776, 781948, this means only 8 in the first million games cannot be won so 999,992 can be won Paul |

Try this: Attempt to win the game but you leave as many cards on the table before moving the key card - in otherwords, you have 44 cards on the table, when you move the next card, and they all go up. My record is 44. |

Like Don, this is the way I play. Otherwise, it's just not very challenging. I don't really consider it a win unless there are 40 cards prior to the last move. My record is 50, games 12841 & 3446. Also 49, game 31878. I don't keep track of 48s anymore. I take a screen shot prior to the last move, and I was just getting too many of those. |
