Dina, I don't know if all Eight Off games are winnable, but #1356698752 definitely is. I tried after reading your post and won it right away. Concentrate on getting the Ace of Spades free first - yes, I know it seems pretty stupid since it's buried quite deep down. After this you need to get the King of Hearts and then the King of Diamonds into empty spaces so you can build down. Hope this helps some. Brita

I'll give you the first 15 steps up until the Ace of Spades is free. I didn't get deadlocked, but perhaps my description was a bit confusing since I use Autoplay and didn't realize at the time that the Ace of Hearts is the first to go to the foundations.

Here it goes:
Eight of Diamonds -> free cell
Ace of Hearts -> foundation (autoplay will do this for you)
Six of Spades -> free cell
Two of Spades -> below Three of Spades
Six of Diamonds -> below Seven of Diamonds
Ten of Spades -> below Jack of Spades
Nine of Hearts -> free cell
Eight of Hearts -> free cell
Ten of Hearts -> free cell
Nine of Spades -> below Ten of Spades
Eight of Spades -> below Nine of Spades
Seven of Spades -> below Eight of Spades
Six of Spades -> below Seven of Spades
Jack of Diamonds -> free cell
Five of Spades -> below Six of Spades
This frees the Ace of Spades. Now either Autoplay will move all cards up to the Jack of Spades to the foundation or you do it yourself.

If you keep and keep and keep getting stuck, tell me and I'll upload the word document in which each step right up to just before the end is described.

Hope there are no recording mistakes...

Which version have you got then? I updated recently to 9.2.0 but I have kept most downloads of older versions, so I could probably install yours on a different computer and try there. This doesn't mean I'm sure I could win but it's worth a try because I would be fresh to the game.

Sorry it took me a while to get back to you but I have found version 2.3 and installed it. Could you please check that this is the same game you have? It certainly seems a lot more difficult than mine but I really didn't have any time today to get down to it.
