I won it! I guess my only advice is to not worry about uncovering the Aces right away, but to get an open space as soon as possible. Good luck!

Unless I'm wearing my Mr.Thick head, I'd say that Arizona #495053089 is impossible to win due to the position of 3 nines in row 1. To make matters worse, the 4th 9 is blocked in by a king which in turn is impossible to move.
Could someone please confirm this?

I just proved myself wrong by getting a line clear as Ken said, plus access to nines. Wish I could repeat the operation.

Eventually got my head round this one. Well done Ken, I'd have put money on this being unwinnable.
Solution available if anyone else interested.

I've not spent very long at it but I am inclined to agree that it is unwinnable. 4's and 10's are not much use without 3's and Jacks.
Will try it again later.

Arizona #23. Can anyone get the 7D onto the foundation? Then the game should be winnable.

It cannot be won Markus. Every column with a 7 or a queen in it is blocked. That just leaves column 5 which has 2 jacks. Only one of them can ever be moved.
Strange that you have found 2 unwinnable ones so quickly. The rules say 90% winnable!

The only chance to win it was to get the 7D up, but there is one card blocking. Your other explanations are the problem. That's why i asked for the only possible way.

Thanks for that Ken. That was in my young and foolish days. I did win the game though....unASSisted.. I did it my way!
I was surprised to get an email from your mother earlier in the day. We were discussing May 12th. I managed to assure her that she'd not have outstayed her welcome by that time, and that you would be sorry if they left so soon. So cancel May 12th Ken and pencil in May 19th....................................2011.
You are such a great host that this should come as no surprise. Have a nice daze.
BTW, Mike could use some marital advice in the General Discussion section. The thread is titled "I've had it with 101". Funny way to spell ------!

Esteemed President? Akin to steamed? Like hot air? Like hot air whether you like hot air or not, no doubt.
I had high hopes of Mr.O. Looks like he will be another big round O, just like all the rest of them. Politicians the world over, full of promises until they get elected and then full of something else.

Vote for Mechen! He'll tell it like it is. Free 8eer and hotdogs for everyone. All you can eat/stomach.

I told myself I would give him a chance even though his politics and everything else were not in sinc with what I believed. But he and his cronies were part of the Chicago machine which works okay in Chicago but not in the White House. I'm sorry I was proven right. BTW, did you know he proclaimed the month of June in the US as sexual minorities tolerance month (I'm psraphrasing)? I wonder when just plain old decent Americans month will be?

It's impossible. With the positions of the face cards the only column that could be cleared is the first one, but you only have one 6 so that cannot happen.

And: "This might not look so tasty"

What's wrong with the look? In my opinion, it looks very tasty. It seems again a side in the net you can forget.

(I just also read and searched a little your side. They took it from Wikipedia. I didn't read all in Wikipedia, but that, what i have read, you can halfly forget.)
