Hi, I've played over 100 games of accordian with no success....I've played and won on another system, and my wife has won on this, but I am having no luck. Can anyone post an actual winnable game? Frank D |

I don't have a winnable game number, but... Nearly every game of Accordion is supposedly winnable. There is a trick to winning. I won't give it away, but try thinking backwards. Think what you have to do for the *last* move in order for the game to win. Then look backwards from there.

The only hint I would give is to open the whole page before starting the game |

There is a web site that describes in detail how to win at Accordion. One difficulty with the PGS implementation is that you can't quite fit all 52 cards on the screen, and this is an important part of the strategy. |

Audrey, one piece of advice, don't play the stock to the end. I believe the last card in the stock is a King. I put that in the tableau, and got stuck. Get all the cards uncovered in the tableau first, and then go from there! Let me know if you need help. Good luck! |

Ive won all 104 games ive played. I'll admit it has taken a few replays. I think all are winnable. If you want I'll give my method. |

As I said before open as much to the page as possible. Look for one set of cards tha appear as close to the end ( aces, jack, ten etc...) and make sure you save them. Once you have chosen a set dispose of some other cards to open the whole page. Work on getting your chosen cards to last four. Its easy after that. Good luck. |

Hi Frank, Here is a solved accordian game. You must make random moves first until all remaining cards fit on the screen. The next step is to pick a rank, and try to make all four cards of that rank at the back of the layout, so that they swallow up all cards as they move forward. It is OK to have one 'alien' card disrupting that collection of four, as in the game attached. Regards, Robin.
