Even after recording every possible starting option and systematically going through each of them multiple times, I can't get past a score of 30. Are there games that are not mathematically capable of being won?

Hi Linda I assume you mean Fifteen and not fifteens it is the column 10h ad 8c 2h 5c qh 5d |

Paul, boy do I have fried egg on my face. I was talking about a game called "Fifteen Puzzle" I had no idea there were other games with almost the same name. Or that the number of the game can be used for multiple games. I am sorry you spent time on the wrong game. My bad. That Fifteen Puzzle is a real buster. Linda |
