Is #1 winnable? Best score 82 points with 22 cards in the waste. |

I got 84 with 20 in the waste at my first attempt. I find the game pretty boring. |

I agree with the boring, but that's why i ask. The earlier i find a winning number, the less games i have to play. ((?)) |

Richard, what's the update on your weather? My parents are in the midst of a blizzard right now and can't wait to get down here to Florida. |

Weather much improved Ken. Temperatures in some parts rose by 20 degrees in 24 hours. We have had rain and strong winds, so the piles of snow are practically gone. It will be back though. |

We are too in the midst of a blizzard here in Northwest Indiana. I'll be okay unless we lose power. Then I don't know what I'll do without heat. The biggest problem is the wind with gusts of 40 mph. If we lose power, I have no where to go, so let's hope it stays on. |

40mph isn't that much Kathy. It shouldn't cause any problems. We often get 60+mph winds and even they don't do that much damage. If your power goes off, just call the police. They will see that you are OK. |

Thanks, Richard. I have a cell phone I can't call out on except for 911. So I hope if the power goes out, they will think it is an emergency when I call. |

Kathy, Forget about the weather. Here is a clip that always makes me smile and never fails to cheer me up. It's a classic! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WlBiLNN1NhQ Here is something else that should cheer you up enormously. http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/8227936 |

Richard, I have to admit I didn't see "The Life of Brian" because I didn't know if it would be appropriate. Nevertheless, the last clip with John Cleese did keave me laughing hysterically. It's the first time I've laughed all day. Of course, almost anything with John Cleese usually does, but this was priceless. Thank you. BTW, I just woke up from a nap and I can't see anything outside my windows. The blowing and drifting have started. I wish you had kept the bad weather in Scotland. We've got enough problems over here. I just hope my birds find shelter for the night. I spent almost all day feeding them. Even my cardinal whom I haven't seen in a while was there. |

I just checked, and the wind is gusting to over 54 mph. Is that enough to cut power? You can tell I'm still worried. I'll have to look at more Monty Python. Might as well go down laughing. |

514575841 is probably winnable Markus. I can get 101 with it. Kathy, Power gets cut when ice builds up on power cables to such an extent that the poles collapse with the weight and the power line breaks. Winds can get rid of ice. You worry too much. It won't happen. |

Thanks Richard, but i cannot play your number because my Beta-version is a trial one, so just the numbers from #1 up to #30. Have to wait for the full version after beta testing. |
