No, Spades is actually a multi-player card game similar to Hearts, not a solitaire game. A couple of people I know make and sell Spades games, you can find them at <http://www.dq.com> and also at <http://www.hardwoodspades.com>.
You might also be referring to the Spider game with all Spades cards (one suit Spider). This game, in slightly different form, is in Pretty Good Solitaire under the name "Black Widow". While there are 4 suits of cards, the rules are such in Black Widow that suits don't matter. It's an easier form of Spider and very popular with people who find regular Spider too difficult.

I just posted that I liked the earlier and more challenging Widow. It was easier than Spider then too.I like different levels of difficulty at different times. |
