Thomas, I just downloaded the Christmas card set. I love them!! What else are you planning? Would you be willing to do a Dog set? The Chinese Zodiac? Again great card sets. Diana |

Card Sets: I downloaded all of the card sets for PGS. For every one of the card sets except the cats, the card faces seem a little out of focus, as if I'm getting an eye test and I'm waiting for the optometrist to offer me a better lens. The cat card set is the only one that seems clear. Am I the only one having this problem? Maybe this is caused by my low resolution (Control Panel, Display, Settings tab, set Screen Resolution as low as it goes), which I set to increase the size of the items on my screen. But it doesn't affect the cat card set, which is still clear. By the way, I also downloaded all of the tile sets for PGMJ from one file; that was really convenient. |

They should look in focus. Many of the card sets use "anti-aliasing", which is to make them look better. Some people think this makes it look less sharp, but it is to make them look more realistic on a computer screen.

Sue, I complained about that a lot when I used WIN98 and 640X480 resolution. Now I have XP where the lowest resolution is 800X600 and the cards look better. Same screen, only older. So it depends how low is "as low as it goes", I think that lots of people use higher resolutions now, and we can't do much/anything to stop the progress of computer technology. |

>Some people think this makes it look less sharp, but it is to make them look more realistic on a computer screen. This is a matter of taste and fashion, I often don't want the subjects to be realistic. I liked the first stylized computer images, before Windows. It's just a matter of age and memory. Styles change so fast now that we can wait, everything turns around.

This may be answered elsewhere, if so I apologize in advance for my lazy brain. But is there information somewhere on how to make our own card sets? I'd enjoy doing something like that.

If you have selected the Patriot Set, you should automatically have the Patriot card backs as well. Note that many of the card backs are the same as on the standard card set, only a few of the higher numbered card backs are different. |

I have the Solitaire Master 4 game on CD. It has most of the games from Pretty Good Solitaire on it and I was wondering if there was anyway to download the card sets to this game. |

It's possible that some of the card sets will work if you put them in the same folder as the game, but I cannot guarantee it.

Andrea, You could create such a thread. I don't know that there are that many user made cards beyond what's on the web site.

Kool I'll do that. Just wanting for my card set to be compiled. Not sure how long it takes for it to be looked over then compiled and sent back to me. There shouldn't b any problems needing correcting with the images so it should be a matter of just compiling it. |
