Is there any way that I can add my own photos into PGS to be used as backgrounds?

Hi I have tried and results not too bad
you can copy your picture into the folder at program files/goodsol/images.
then open solitaire options backgrounds change to bitmap then select stretch then select bitmap file.
you should see you picture name select it and open ok select a game and ok

then when you open the game you should see the background of your picture
my attampt to put a picture onto accordian is attached.

Nice picture, Paul! (And btw, when I think of Richard, that's the same image that's come to my mind, too...prickly!)

Thanks Paul. I'll give it a go. I'll be sure to change the background picture to something appropriate the next time I post a screenshot for you know who.

I copied and pasted a photo into the folder you suggested Paul. Mission accomplished. Thanks again.

Somehow Prickly Richard doesn't really fit. We will have to work on that one. I will have to try the copy/paste thing.

May I suggest Pricky Ricky since you are short of ideas? And we could have Spikey Mikey too.

Did I tell you guys that my job has been outsourced as of August 1st? So I suggest my new name to be Penny Kenny! (On the plus side I will able to play PGS a lot more often!)

"outsourced" is one of these modern words that I really detest. "downsize" is another. Both are about as savoury as "ethnic cleansing".
Sorry about your job Ken.

Do you have a spare room? Tell Liz that I could help with the cleaning and the cooking (I'll leave the gardening up to you, Richard!)

At the moment we have a spare HOUSE Ken. I do the cooking here, and you've heard the one about over manning in that department. The huge pot of chicken soup I made earlier today might have got spoiled. Could you not become a dog walker? There are people who'd happily pay you for that service.

Once again. Richard has some encouraging thoughts. Don't let the door hit you in your behind on the way out. Unemployment is nothing to joke about these days. Good luck Ken.

A lot of our politicians will be unemployed shortly. Just a bunch of self-serving crooks who've been caught with their hands in the till. Every successive one who's been exposed has used the same excuse, it's been a mistake, an error, and they'll repay the cash. Doesn't look like the police are going to see it that way. They appear to have reached the same conclusion as me.....they're a bunch of crooks. Of course a high percentage of the population knew that decades ago. Ken's impending unemployment is no joke though.

Hi Ken
I wish you well in the future

combining politics and solitaire means we envy Ali Baba as he only had 40 thieves

HA! I laughed at your Ali Baba reference. Why stop there? 80 thieves wouldn't cover it. Without being an Anglophobiac I'd like mention that the Scottish Parliament has come out smelling of roses (for once?). They should be applauded for passing legislation that obliged them to post their expenses on-line. It's gratifying that the Westminster parliament is now following their enlightened lead. In the absence of such legislation I'm pretty sure our Scottish lot would have had their heads as deep into the trough as the rest of the greedy pigs. Should we hang the whole bunch?

Not that I want to turn this into a political forum. Which would not be allowed by you know who. But getting rid of the lot of them is just what many people are saying. And I guess it holds true for both sides of the pond. Don't know if pondpaul is in on this. But pondmike is.

Ahh! A consensus of agreement. So all we need to debate now is the method of execution. I suggest something cheap, given the current financial situation. Stones are cheap.
