I am playing "Triple Interchange" and when I try to move an ace to a specific spot it does not go there but to some spot further to the left. This has happened in other games as well. |

In Triple Interchange the aces go to the Foundation at the top, why should you want to place it anywhere else? It doesn't matter at all to which pile. In another game - Osmotic Cell the placing does matter. If I don't like the card that's sent to the foundation (always left side) I switch off the autoplay so the aces aren't sent up automatically, only what I move myself. |

I did not make my self clear. I like to group the aces together so that the Clubs are together, the Spades, etc. That way I can see what card is need next per suit. Most games allow me to place the aces is a specific ace hole. It could be that my version is corrupted and works fine for everyone else. Thanks for the information. Odes |

I knew just what you meant. I like to do that also, or in games like Thirteen Packs, I like to put the Queen and Jack foundation cards in the same suit order. The game will put them wherever, if one just right clicks or autoplay is on. I just undo and drag the card where I want it, when that happens. |

If you play the cards manually (not autoplay), you can play any ace in any spot you wish. AutoPlay (or right click) is always going to choose the first (leftmost) available spot. If you want to select where to play them yourself, just turn off autoplay.

I have another and specific example: (I use Number cards instead of face cards) Chequers Game # 1158232064 Red 13 (King of Hearts) is upper left corner of layout. Try to place it anywhere in the King side of the foundation. The ONLY way to get it up there is to right click on it. Same thing for the King 2 rows down. The top king has an ace under it. Try to move it anywhere but to the leftmost ace spot. I am using Pretty Good Solitaire 10.3.1 (Nov 2005) Autoplay is OFF |

This behavior in Chequers is a bug in version 10.3.1. It will be fixed in the next version.
