This is what the 'Foundation' part of the rules of Klondike says: "Also, once cards are moved to foundations, usually they cannot be moved again" In the Windows Klondike game (sol.exe) version, one CAN move the foundation cards and as a result one can often "get at" a card directly below the un-turned cards by moving the rest of the foundation off of it and onto another stack. Is this cheating? --John Kiernan

Moving cards back from the foundations is called "worrying back". Generally speaking, it is not considered cheating. There are some games that specifically forbid it, however. |
